The first is Seamas, Neil, and Ayden, on our first "team kit ride" at Otero Canyon. This was a few weeks ago, long before the closures.

The next image is the starting line at the Dirty Kanza 200, in Emporia, Kansas. Mike, Ruthie, Rob, and I, went east for a long ride. Story to come later.

The Season Is Under Way

Early efforts in this year's race season were very fruitful over the last couple of weeks.  Hailey Fortin took a win at the Hillsboro Road Race and Earl Gage took a win at the Tierra del Sol Road Race.  Meanwhile, in the New Mexico Endurance Series, Chris Hereford rode to a 6th place at the San Ysidro Dirty Century.  The season is young so stay tuned for more results.

The Fit Kit Is In!

So the process of ordering kits for the first season of the Goatheads is underway.  Lee Newsom of The Kickstand completed our kit design and it looks like this:

Very nice.  Next time you see Lee, be sure to thank him for spending his time creating such a great jersey for the team. You have until March 12th to try on sizes.  The order goes into the mail on March 14th so get into Kickstand to confirm your sizes so we can be looking good in time for the early part of the season.  

Speaking of sizes, Champion Systems appears to have every size under the sun as Mike Humphries discovered yesterday:

  

I think that one is somewhat small for Mike, although think of the potential aerodynamic advantage he might gain if he squeezes into that thing.
